The pages in this book are made from handmade flax papers that have been dip dyed in indigo, brushed with konn’yaku paste, and folded and crumpled repeatedly through a process called momigami to strengthen and soften the paper. Over time, as this book is exposed to repeated handling and manipulation, the paper fibers will continue to strengthen resulting in an object that feels more like fabric than paper.
